If you are undergoing any medical treatment for tension, it is best to consult a specialist before taking this remedy, as it may interfere with the treatment and cause adverse reactions.
Natural remedy to regulate hypertension

Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a very common cardiovascular disorder that occurs when the blood flow continually exerts considerable pressure on the arteries.

It is usually not due to a single cause; consequently, there are several factors that must be taken into account, such as nutrition, physical activity, consumption of substances harmful to health (such as alcohol and tobacco), genetic inheritance, etc.

Once patients have been diagnosed with this disease, they must improve their lifestyle habits to avoid exposing themselves to greater risks. At the same time, they also need to improve their eating habits. Otherwise, there is a risk of suffering from a myocardial infarction, hemorrhage or cerebral thrombosis.

Experts from the World Health Organization indicate that “the higher the blood pressure, the greater the risk of suffering damage to the heart and blood vessels of major organs such as the brain and kidneys.”

According to doctors, hypertension does not always cause the appearance of symptoms: for this reason it has received the name of “silent killer”.

Natural remedy to regulate hypertension

Although there is no natural remedy that alone is able to cure hypertension, there are some preparations (such as those we will discuss in the following lines) that can be consumed in the context of a healthy lifestyle.

These preparations help to avoid the consumption of industrially produced sodas, rich in sodium and sugar, two ingredients that must be avoided when suffering from high blood pressure.

The following natural remedy consists of a mix of pine leaves, pomegranate and onion, three ingredients which are attributed antioxidant effects and diuretic properties that could help alleviate the problem.

Benefits of pine leaves

Regulate hypertension: pine leaves.

French sea pine contains a substance called procyanidin, an antioxidant substance that can help improve the health of the entire body and help regulate blood pressure.

Antioxidants are believed to help reduce cell damage and avoid aggravation of hypertension. Furthermore, it is thought that its anti-inflammatory properties promote the proper functioning of the renal and cardiovascular systems.

Consequently, there are those who find it useful to prepare natural drinks based on pine leaves to supplement their diet and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Benefits of the pomegranate

According to experts of the Spanish Nutrition Foundation (FEN), the pomegranate is a fruit that, although it can not be called a rich source of nutrients, but it contains a certain amount of potassium and vitamin C.

For this reason, there are those who say that the pomegranate is one of the healthiest fruits for hypertensive patients or those who have high cholesterol levels.

Just like green tea, this fruit contains antioxidants, among which are polyphenols. In addition, they also contain tannins, which can help reduce systolic blood pressure.

Benefits of onion peel

According to FEN experts, onion is a food that contains proteins, potassium, vitamin C, flavonoids and various sulfur compounds. Furthermore, they state the following: “the culinary processes (frying, cooking on the fire, etc.) do not cause great losses of the overall content of the onion; consequently, onion-based recipes offer a good supply of these components ”.

Although we usually tend to throw away the peel or skin of onions, there are, however, those who consider it usable, because it could have a good concentration of nutrients.

In fact, there is the hypothesis that the consumption of onion could help regulate blood pressure. However, more research is needed on this issue.

For the moment, the consumption of onion remains advisable, however, always in the context of a balanced diet. It should never be considered as the only food source or as a substitute for the treatment prescribed by your doctor (in case you have hypertension from another disease).
